The Man with America Skin
A new play by Seth Moore
Somewhere in the midst of a wasted Americana, a paranoid artist has spent a year (or was it nine?) alone, trying to pull himself together after leaving his family. The arrival of a soldier, back covered in shrapnel scars, shakes up his world and begins to pull him from the depths. Together, they convert the boarded up house into a camera obscura, watching the world through a bullet hole, and healing each other.
Time-bending narrative and poetic interludes drive this new play.

Chinatown is Full of Rooms
Part of Manhattan Repertory Theatres ONE ACT PLAY SERIES 2010
By Seth Moore
Directed by Alex Bisker
A rhythmic poem-piece/mood song about libido and love.
Two ex-lovers spend an accidental night together and, ultimately, weave a passionate tapestry of questions. What does it mean to be connected to another person? In a post-modern age where so much has already been loosened in society, what restrictions do we end up placing on ourselves?
October 2010
Starring: Leigh Adel-Arnold, Jessica Hendricks, and Sean Tant
Kiss of the Spider Woman
A dark, gritty musical about revolution, friendship, and the power of fantasy. This Tony Award-Winning show follows two cell mates in a Latin American prison: Valentin, a tough revolutionary undergoing torture and Molina, an unabashed homosexual serving eight years for deviant behavior. To pass the time and distract them from their horrible reality, Molina recounts the plots of movies he watched as a boy. All of these films starred the same beautiful actress, Aurora, and Molina loves every role she's ever played - except one. Aurora's part as the beautiful but deadly Spider Woman haunts him, and this dangerous woman soon starts to become a terrifyingly real presence in both men's everyday life. Ultimately, in this tale that blends the magical with the mundane, she will force both men to discover if heroism and love are possible in real life - or only in the movies.

Marisol
By Jose Rivera
As the play begins, Marisol, a copy-editor for a Manhattan publisher living in the Bronx, is visited by her guardian angel. The seraphim informs her that she can no longer serve as Marisol's protector; She has been called to join the revolution against an old and senile God. The war in heaven spills over into New York City, reducing it to a smoldering urban wasteland where giant fires send noxious smoke to darken the skies, where the moon has not been seen in months, where the food has been turned to salt, and water no longer seeks its level. Alone, without her protector, Marisol begins a nightmare journey into this new war zone, eventually finding herself on the streets, homeless, where her many encounters include a woman beaten for exceeding her credit limit and a homeless burn victim in a wheelchair looking for his lost skin. With the apocalypse well under way, the angels have traded in their wings for Uzis and wear leather motorcycle jackets and fatigues. As the action builds to a crescendo, the masses of homeless and displaced people join the angels in the war to save the universe.

The Full Monty
In this Americanized musical stage version adapted from the 1997 British film of the same name, unemployed Buffalo steelworkers, low on both cash and prospects, decide to present a strip act at a local club after seeing their wives' enthusiasm for a touring company of Chippendales. One of them, Jerry, declares that their show will be better than the Chippendales dancers because they'll go "the full monty" strip all the way. As they prepare for the show, working through their fears, self-consciousness, and anxieties, they overcome their inner demons and find strength in their camaraderie. [ Source]
